Our lessons are further divided into two groups, Beginner and Novice. Beginner participants learn about water safety, blowing bubbles, floating, and the basics of gliding and kicking. Novice participants learn more about floating, gliding, kicking, freestyle, backstroke, and the basics of Splashball.
Children must be between the ages of 5 and 13 to enroll in our Make A Splash Program.
During the months of May through July, we offer swim lessons specifically catered to children between the ages of 3 and 6 years-old.
Although similar to our year-round Make A Splash program, summer lessons focus more intently on teaching younger children how to be "water-safe." This program caters to younger siblings of our Make A Splash program who are under the age of 5, and therefore our goals for this class best match those outlined by our Make A Splash Level 2.
These lessons are offered on a weekly basis only. Children must be between the ages of 3 and 6 to enroll.
Please note these lessons take place at Coach Janet's home, not at West Mesa Pool. See the Location Map for more details.
