PRACTICE SCHEDULE

PRE-TEAM: Tues., Thurs., 5:30-6 p.m.

COMPETITIVE GROUP: M-F 5-6 P.M.; Sat. 10-11 a.m.

Swim all four competitive strokes and learn skills that are good for life! 

Duke City Aquatics–Highland provides year-round quality instruction for competitive age-group swimmers, ages 5-19. 

The pre-team group is our introductory level group for 10 and unders who are comfortable in the water but are not competitive swimmers yet.

The pre-team group currently swims from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Dues are $25.00 per month for the pre-team group. 

The competition group works primarily on basic skills for racing, and competes in local meets.  Our major meets are the New Mexico Swimming age-group state championships held in February (short course) and July (long course) each year.  Practices for the competition team generally are from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturday, depending on pool availability (usually 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.).  Monthly dues for the competitive group are $55.00 per month, or $200.00 for four months. Competition group siblings receive a discount of $5.00 per month. Swimmers must be willing to complete the moderately rigorous practices to join the competition group.

All swimmers must register with USA Swimming ($60 per year).
